On 30 March 2017, the first ever TN online real-time research seminar connected students and lecturers at University of Helsinki and University of Aberdeen. The seminar discussed the topic: What is diversity in learning? The purpose was to stimulate thinking about diversity, and how we can deal with it in research/teaching and learning. The participants both in Helsinki and Aberdeen engaged in vivid discussions in their classrooms, and shared their ideas about diversity. Many questions were raised, based on the presentations made by the students. The feedback from this first seminar was very encouraging, and we are looking forward to establish this on a regular basis. To view a recording of the event please click on this link.
