Those conducting their doctoral research at the University of Lapland can apply for Rector's grants. The grants are intended to cover the costs of the finalization process and translation and proofreading services.
Grants
are admitted for 1–4 months (1,644.00 euros/month). The grant is
intended to cover the costs of the finalization work, such as
translation and proofreading, and printing.
Priority is given to
dissertations supporting the ULapland strategic focus areas, article
dissertations containing articles likely to be published in
international refereed journals, and applicants who have not received
financial support for their dissertation work earlier.
The
purpose of these grants is to support obtaining the field-specific aims
of doctoral degrees at the University of Lapland. This aim was set by
the Ministry of Education and Culture.
