Rector's grants for finalizing dissertations

1.3.2013

Those conducting their doctoral research at the University of Lapland can apply for Rector's grants. The grants are intended to cover the costs of the finalization process and translation and proofreading services.

Grants are admitted for 1–4 months (1,644.00 euros/month). The grant is intended to cover the costs of the finalization work, such as translation and proofreading, and printing.

Priority is given to dissertations supporting the ULapland strategic focus areas, article dissertations containing articles likely to be published in international refereed journals, and applicants who have not received financial support for their dissertation work earlier.

The purpose of these grants is to support obtaining the field-specific aims of doctoral degrees at the University of Lapland. This aim was set by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
