UArctic Thematic Network on Teacher Education and UNESCO/UNITWIN Network on Teacher Education co-organised a roundtable discussion in FERA Conference on Education.
The session titled "Do you speak my language?" took place in Joensuu, Finland in 21st November, 2019.
The event was very successful and the discussion provided interesting perspectives on themes like indigenous and minority languages teaching, second language teaching, hearing children's voice and teaching in multilingual environment.
The discussion was moderated by professor Tuija Turunen, University of Lapland. The other speakers were:

The event was organised as part of UN International Year of Indigenous Languages 2019 celebrations.
