The Arctic Spirit Conference is the first major open event to be held during Finland's chairmanship of the Arctic Council. It is part of the official program when Finland celebrates its 100 years of independence.
The three-day Arctic Spirit event is a forum for discussing the current status of and trends in Arctic cooperation with focus on sustainable development challenges and the people in the Arctic. The conference will take place on the 14 - 16 November at the Lappia Hall, Rovaniemi, Finland. Professor Tuija Turunen, the lead of the UArctic Thematic Network of Teacher Education will be one the speakers in the Rovaniemi Arctic Spirit Conference.
