Amna Qureshi
Ph.D. candidate, Amna Qureshi is a researcher at the Faculty of Arts & Design, the University of Lapland, Finland. She holds a master's degree in Multimedia Arts (Distinction) and a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design (Graphic Design) both from the National College of Arts, Lahore, Pakistan. Her experience in teaching design to undergraduates at the same university goes back a decade. In her doctoral research, Amna is interested in exploring factors such as the search for identity, conformity, desire to be heard, communication, and the interpretation of the youth of the Arctic city of Rovaniemi in Lapland, Finland. Her research interests are artistic incorporating arts & design education experiments which will contribute to the H2020 funded research project Acting on the Margins: Arts as Social Sculpture (AMASS) at the University of Lapland, Finland.
