IDA data storage

The IDA service is designed to serve as a repository for research data from projects carried out by Finnish higher education institutions and the Academy of Finland. Institutions can use the storage space free of charge. It can be accessed by filling in the application form and contacting the IDA contact persons at our university (Liisa Hallikainen, tel. +358 40 758 2590 and Arto Vitikka, tel. +358 40 527 2436)

IDA service is particularly useful for storing
•    large volumes of data requiring extensive storage capacity
•    data used by project partners who do not have access to the university’s network locations
•    data that need to be accessible due to being linked in an OA electronic publication
