The library sells credits for printing, copying and scanning. The minimum purchase is five euros, which is worth of 74 pages of A4 black and white printouts and copies.
The university provides paper for the printers. The former black and white A4 printers have been taken out of use and replaced by multifunction devices. There are altogether ten multifunction devices reserved for student use near our computer labs. They have been named with simple human names, such as Ulla, Viivi etc., in order to facilitate the work of ICT support.
All computers in our ICT classrooms have the secure print queue. In order to print, you must register the university’s electronic key, or a card (e.g. your student card, bank card, S-Etukortti card) or phone with a rfid/nfc chip at the multifunction devices. If you do not have any of the abovementioned credentials, you can get a rfid label at the library, which you can attach to your library card, for example.
