LUMA Centre Lapland organises clubs and camps all around Lapland, inspiring children and the youth to engage in natural sciences, mathematics and technology.
In the rocket club children build flying gadgets and learn about different physical phenomena at the same time. In the Pulmaario club they practice mathematical skills through play, games and crafts, and are introduced to the basics of programming. The detective camp gives children the chance to investigate pieces of evidence using the methods of chemistry, physics and mathematics and to practice logical reasoning. On the nature camp they explore the surrounding nature with the help of technology.
The goal of all our club and camp activity is to promote children’s natural curiosity and playfulness.
