Kirsi Kuusikko is Professor of Administrative Law at ULap/Faculty of Law. Kirsi has investigated good administration from different perspectives. Key research areas have been the principle of service and advice as well as the requirements of impartiality of administration and disability provisions. On the basis of general administrative law, her studies have approached various branches of government (for example social welfare, education administration). She has also studied the control of public sector, and in particular the institution of the Ombudsman as well as the issues of indirect public administration in a broad sense. In her research she has used the legal historical and comparative law perspectives.
