The situation with COVID-19 virus has affected in some of the activities of UArctic Thematic Network on Teacher Education, UNESCO/UNITWIN Network on Teacher Education and the projects related to them.

• ICASS X Conference was postponed to 15-19 June, 2021. The networks were planning to have a conference session in the conference, and therefore the session will be postponed as well. The session would have been part of activities of project Arctic Pedagogy in Teacher Education and Transformative Teacher Education for the Sustainable North.
• Workshop of project Enhancing Equity and Inclusion in Education in Circumpolar North (EICN) has been cancelled. The workshop was planned to be held in Anchorage, Alaska in April. The project will continue its work online. Face-to-face meetings will be held in the future.
• Workshop of project Indigenous Pedagogy in Teacher Education (IPED) has been cancelled. The workshop was planned to be held in Tromso, Norway in April. The project group follows how the situation develops and will re-schedule and re-plan its activities again during following months.
• Workshop of project Arctic Five - Joint Online Master Study Course has been cancelled. The workshop was planned to be held in Tromso, Norway in May. The project group works on with finding new workshop dates. 

Even if many of our activities have been cancelled, we want to encourage people to stay connected online. The network activities will be prepared for the future and we will organise activities online as much as possible. The networks will organise two open access online webinars during following weeks - welcome to join!

• 30th of March: PhD students Louise Andersen and Ivalu Mathiesen, University of Greenland: Inside the classroom - research perspectives on learning situations in the Greenlandic primary school system. More information here.
