Ice-breaker Party
Sunday 10 June at 19-21
Venue: Alaruokanen House, Valtakatu 8
Informal first evening - nice to meet old friends and make new ones. Includes something to eat and drink. Included in the registration fee, but advance registration is required.

Rovaniemi City Reception
Monday 11 June at 19-20
Venue: Rovaniemi City Hall, Hallituskatu 7
This cocktail reception will be hosted by the City of Rovaniemi. Included in the registration fee, but advance registration is required.

Whole-day excursion to Sodankylä

Conference dinner
Thursday 14 June at 19 -
Venue: TBC
Final evening together with good food, drink and company. Included in the registration fee for participants taking part in the whole conference. A separate fee 60 € for those who only participate in part of the conference. Advance registration required.

Optional tour on Saturday 16 June

Research and culture on the border of Finland and Sweden
Join the exciting optional tour organized after the conference on Saturday 16 June. During the tour you will visit Aavasaksa fell with magnificent views and rich history of international research and culture. You will also see the traditional way of capturing whitefish at the border river and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared using traditional local methods. The bus will take you directly to the airport after the excursion if needed so you catch e.g. 18.20 flight to Helsinki in time.
Timetable: 8:00 - 16:00
Price: 55 € / person including travel, program and catering

Are you paying for the Saturday excursion personally?
Ask the conference office (congress[at]ulapland.fi) for instructions how to proceed if you want to take part in the optional tour on Saturday and will pay for it personally.
