Sunday, 3 June 2018
Duration: 7 h 53 min

Ends: 17:17 (Rovaniemi)
In addition to lots of Finnish sceneries, this family-friendly pre-conference includes ‘Trainshops’ on: micro-mobilities, magics of slow travel, travelogues about transit, handicraft tourism, and tourism fairy tales. The journey is intended to bridge the nexus of professional and private travelling to conferences, as it acknowledges partners and children of participants as stakeholders in the academic reality we as individuals create, and invites the co-travelling family-members to participate in activities and discussions provided.
