Virtual reality helps effectively develop occupational safety skills

Making use of virtual reality in occupational safety training can improve occupational safety skills. In a joint research project, the University of Lapland and the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health developed a model for occupational safety training utilising virtual reality and based on simulation teaching. The model uses the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health’s Virtuario™ learning environment.
