The new programme to support Arctic research cooperation between Finland and Japan

Finnish and Japanese universities will tighten the cooperation in Arctic research and education by establishing Finnish-Japanese Arctic Studies Program. The project is cooperation between the University of Lapland, the University of Oulu and the University of Helsinki from Finland and the Hokkaido University from Japan.

Murmansk Arctic State University signs cooperation agreement with University of Lapland

A cooperation agreement was signed last week between the University of Lapland (Rovaniemi, Finland) and Murmansk Arctic State University (Russia), reconfirming the long-standing friendship between the two institutions. In addition to discussing with several faculty members and leadership of the University of Lapland, the Murmansk delegation also met with representatives from UArctic.
