In the Degree Programme in Audiovisual Media Culture students major in Media Science. The major studies are complemented by our minor studies in multimedia, the moving image, and game design and technology. Students from other degree programmes are also welcome to take studies from our minor study modules. For our exchange students we have put together an English-taught study module in Audiovisual Media Culture. Check the Admissions pages for further information.
Our scientific research intertwines with artistic and productive activity and the design industry. In your studies you will observe a range of different media from the historical, cultural, expressive and productive points of view.
It is possible to choose an area of specialisation for the studies, such as moving image, animation, photography, sound and radio expression, as well as game design and its research. Students deepen their knowledge and skills in this area as they progress in their studies. It is also possible to combine areas of specialisation.
