Registration

Conference is organized onsite in Rovaniemi at University of Lapland (no online participation). All participants and presenters must register for the conference in advance. The registration deadline for accepted presenters is 9 October 2022, for other participants the registration in open until 8 November 2022.

Registration fees
Early bird fee is valid until 9 October, after that the fee rises.

Participant (2 days): 390 € / 415 €
Participant (1 day): 260 € / 285 €
Participant (2 days), FiVERA member: 380 € / 405 €
Participant (1 day), FiVERA member: 250 € / 275 €
Student* (2 days): 205 € / 220 €
Student* (1 day): 145 € / 160 €

*For Master and PhD Students: Please send a proof of student status (ID card or letter from your institution or program director) to the conference office by email (congress@ulapland.fi).

Registration fee includes:

• programme
• lunches and coffee during breaks mentioned on the programme
• visits to Lapland UAS and Lapland Education Centre REDU
• evening event at Restaurant Petronella on Wednesfday 9 November
  

Payments
The registration fees include the VAT 0%. Please note that all payments must be made in advance and in euros (€).

Please choose your payment type on the online registration form. The options are

• Online bank transfer (Finnish banks)
• Online credit card payment (Visa, MasterCard, EuroCard, Amex)
• Invoice. Invoice will be sent to you separately by the conference office. Please remember to specify the invoicing address on the registration form. Invoicing fee 10 € will be added to all invoices. If you prefer to have group, please send the request to the conference office by email (congress@ulapland.fi).
  

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made by email to Rovaniemi-Lapland Congresses (congress@ulapland.fi). Registration fee will be refunded if cancellation is received before 17 October 2022. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date. Please note that a processing fee of 30 € will be deducted from all refunds.

Hotel reservations

The conference organizers have made bulk reservations for the conference guests in five hotels in Rovaniemi, please see the map. Add your accommodation reservation to the registration form. Please inform any changes to the Rovaniemi-Lapland Conferences (not directly to the hotel) by email congress@ulapland.fi. The prices below are only for those bookings done via Rovaniemi-Lapland. Congresses.

Hotels and prices:
The price is per day, including breakfast buffet, service and VAT. 

Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna: standard single room 100 €/night, standard double 120 €/night
Scandic Rovaniemi City: standard single room 109 €/night, standard double room 119 €/night
Arctic City Hotel: Classic room 1-2 persons per room 148 €/night, Style room 1-2 persons per room 168 €/night
Hotel Santa Claus: standard single room 155 €/night, standard double room 161 €/night
Arctic Light Hotel: Magic room 1-2 h persons per room 179 €/night, Arctic room 1-2 persons per room 199 €/night

NB! The registration fee does not include accommodation, hotel fees are to be paid directly to the hotel onsite. If you prefer billing, please inform us in the registration form. We have to check the possibilities of billing from each hotel.

Cancellation policy for accommodation bookings:

• Cancellations only by email and at least three day before the arriving day.
• Later cancellation or no-show fee 100%.
• If you are sick, cancellation can be done later (doctor's certificate needed!)
• Hotels reserve rights to release booking in arriving day after 6 pm. If you arrive later, please inform us in the registration form.
