What are My Global Diary Ambassadors? 

Our My Global Diary Ambassadors work to share their own international study experience on Instagram and to inspire other students to become more international as well. As an ambassador, a student gets to share stories about the application process for student exchange, life during an exchange, about a traineeship abroad, or about going international at home. Ambassadors work as a part of a team of other talented content creators.

What do we expect from an Ambassador?                               

We are looking for a diverse group of students who represent a wide variety of study fields and backgrounds. We require our ambassadors to

be comfortable with using Instagram.
have good listening, reading, writing and speaking skills in English as the working language of the project is English.
be motivated and inspired students
be able to work independently and deliver the proposed content by agreed deadlines.
Students with experience in social media management and content creation are encouraged to apply but previous work experience in the field is not required.

What does an ambassador get to do?

When working as an ambassador you will

increase your internationalisation competencies and learn to network with other people.
gain practical experience in marketing & digital content creation as well as social media management.
get to tell your own story in your own personal way using video, pictures, text, hand drawn comics - you name it!
The task is student-oriented, and you will always have the support of your university's internationalisation team behind you. 

Recruitment for new ambassadors:
We are currently recruiting ambassadors for the time period between September 2025 - January 2026. This recruitment call is open until midnight August 25, 2025. The chosen ambassadors are required to post content (preferably Instagram stories and reels) on a designated responsibility day during each week. This means that you are going to be in charge of our My Global Diary Ambassador Instagram account for one day a week between September and January. The pay is a one-time payment of 200 € which is payable after all duties have been completed. 

Compulsory Training session and notice of selection:
The results of the selection will be shared at latest one week before the compulsory training session, which is taking place on September 4 from 16:00 - 18:00. The chosen ambassadors are required to formally accept their position before taking part in the training.
