Abstract submission

Oral presentations
In thematic groups participants present and discuss ongoing or finished research in 90 minute sessions. Generally one session includes three presentations, when each presentation takes 20 minutes and time reserved for discussion is ten minutes per paper. Symposia are generally 90 minutes long including 3-4 invited presentations. Those proposing the symposia are also responsible for planning and arranging the symposia.

More specific programme with the presentation timetable together with the abstracts is published on the conference website in the beginning of November.

Poster presentations
In poster exhibition participants have a possibility to present and discuss ongoing or finished research with the same scientific criteria as in paper sessions. Posters can be presented either by one person or a research group. 

Posters will be on display in the university lobby during the whole event. Presenters will mount the posters as soon as they arrive at the venue and remove them before they leave. Presenters are expected to be ready to present their posters during breaks.

Poster size is A1 (portrait, 594 mm x 841 mm).

How to submit an abstract?
The deadline for abstract submission is Monday 9 October 2017 at 8:00 (new deadline). Abstracts submitted to the thematic groups will be reviewed by thematic group leaders. Poster abstracts will be reviewed by the local organizing committee. Abstracts for the symposia are submitted by invited speakers. 

Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by 16 October 2017. 

All abstracts must be submitted using the online submission system. Abstracts sent by email will be ignored. Maximum abstract length is 250 words. Accepted abstracts will be published on the event website.

NB. If you are submitting a poster abstract, choose poster as both category and presentation type.
