We examine well-being, work and citizenship from different perspectives. Our research addresses themes such as inclusion, social problems and rights, as well as political, social and administrative structures.
The research community brings together a multitude of perspectives and research methods to examine changing northern communities and environments. The research themes are based on the Faculty's strong tradition of critical and developmental research and project activities on well-being, work and citizenship.
Moreover, the research community seeks to make innovative contributions e.g. to the fields of Management of health and well-being and Welfare law.
