Economics is a traditional social scientific discipline that examines economic phenomena, problems, interconnections and development at individual and state level. It also seeks to predict economic development.
The studies introduce students to wider economic phenomena, such as business fluctuations, unemployment and determination of exchange rates.
The scope of the studies is 25 credits (basic studies). The subject
is divided into several areas of specialisation, providing a
comprehensive overview of the operational environment of economy. It is a
good choice for a minor for those who wish to understand the societal
role of the economy better.
