China: Domestic, Global and Arctic Trajectories is our new minor subject that provides a comprehensive informational and theoretical overview to the Chinese society and culture. The particular focus of the programme is in China’s growing activity in the Arctic regions. During your studies you will explore the causes and effects of the development and rapid globalisation of the Chinese society.
The studies will prepare you for transacting successfully with increasingly international Chinese companies and people in and outside of China.
The scope of the studies is 25 credits. The module welcomes all students at our university.
We offer six study units that include e.g. Chinese jurisdiction, society, politics, economy and management, culture and history, and the Chinese language. The studies feature lectures, seminars, movie and media analyses, and related literature. We also organise guest lectures, which are taught by researchers from our partner universities.
