Statistics is focused on analysing and interpreting extensive amounts of data. Instead of conducting traditional statistics, our studies take the differences between different subject fields into account. Students will not focus on equations, but learn how to analyse the data in a meaningful way and to interpret the results in the light of the research questions.
The scope of the studies is 20 credits..
Statistics is a useful minor for students majoring in Economics, Tourism Research and Sociology, but also for other students who aim to pursue careers in research.
Note! The module is taught in Finnish.
