Social Studies as a Teaching Subject

It is possible to acquire qualifications to teach social studies by completing the module Social Studies as a Teaching Subject (60 cr.), in addition to a master's degree and teachers' pedagogical studies. The module enables graduates to teach in comprehensive school. By completing advanced studies in any social scientific or administrative subject, they will also be qualified to teach in upper secondary school.

The studies are designed for students who aim to pursue a career as a teacher and to gain extensive knowledge in social studies.
