Marketing studies provide students with core knowledge and skills of the discipline and its practice. The studies examine business in terms of the relationship between a company and its customers.
We lay emphasis on services. Students will understand the role of marketing in business, get a grasp of the core terminology and learn to apply the marketing way of thinking to business and management. They will also explore consumer behaviour, service and relationship marketing, and the marketing thinking connected to the innovation operations of businesses.
At our university it is possible to complete basic and subject studies (total 60 cr.) in marketing.
Marketing is a good minor subject for tourism research, management,
and art students, but it also suits anyone interested in the market
economy and the communications directed at consumers.
